What are the types of crushers?

Crusher can be divided into extrusion crusher, impact crusher and shear crusher according to the main force of crushing materials.

Extrusion crusher mainly includes jaw crusher, rotary crusher, cone crusher, roller crusher and so on. The working principle is that materials are crushed by squashing, splitting and bending between the fixed and movable tooth plates of the crusher.

Impact crusher mainly includes impact crusher, ring hammer crusher and so on. This kind of crusher hits the materials with a high-speed moving hammer. After each hitting, the materials speeds up to the impact plate. The repeated impact and counter-impact as well as the mutual crushing and impact in the crushing chamber, can realize the crushing process.

Shearing crusher makes full use of the strength characteristics of rock, coal, coke and so on. And it crushes materials by shearing, stretching, bending, puncturing, breaking, splitting of materials.
