Forged coke is the product of petroleum coke calcined above 1200 ℃ in a forging furnace. It is widely used in aluminum electrolyte anode, graphite electrode for steelmaking, carburizing agent and other carbon products. However, a large amount of high-temperature flue gas is produced in the production process of forged coke, and the dust in the flue gas is mainly collected by multi tube cyclone. Most of these dusts are sold at low prices, which not only wastes resources, but also easily leaks out during loading, unloading and transportation, resulting in secondary environmental pollution. The comprehensive utilization of coke dust collection after forging has become an important topic.
Analysis on comprehensive utilization characteristics of dust collection of Calcined coke
In this paper, the by-products of petroleum coke calcined in kiln are used as raw materials. By measuring its performance indexes, the following specific conclusions are drawn:
(1) The particle size of Roasting Dust Collection powder is fine. 79% of them are -0.074mm and the true density is 1.92 ~ 1.99g/cm3. Its true density is larger than that of oil coke, but slightly smaller than that of forged coke.
(2) The average values of moisture content, sulfur content and sulfur content were 1.48%, 3.38% and 2.77% respectively, which were significantly lower than the coking value. The changes of moisture, sulfur and sulfur content are little compared with that of coke after forging.
(3) Ash content, compared with oil coke and forging coke, the content of trace elements has increased.
(4) The calorific value of dust removal powder is high, up to 28.4kj/g, and the fixed carbon content is about 89%.
Comprehensive utilization of dust collecting powder of calcined coke
In the experiment of dust collection and comprehensive utilization of calcined coke, the process has no pollution and no pollutants. All performance indexes are generally good, and there is a large space to be used as additives for carbon products.
