After the slag is dried and ground, it is sucked into the powder separator from the grinding disc under the action of the wind in the mill. The static blades installed on the powder separator will guide the dust-laden air from the upward airflow to the tangential airflow, and the rotation direction of the rotor is consistent with the direction of the tangential airflow. There is centrifugal force in the gap between the static blades and the moving blades, and the dust is screened in this area. Larger particles are thrown out and fall into the silo under the action of gravity, and are sent back to the vertical mill for reprocessing. The finished product enters the outlet of the upper housing of the powder separator through the rotor with the air flow, and leaves the powder separator.
There are many reasons and countermeasures for the return of mineral powder vertical grinding mill
(1) The fineness of the output grinding powder depends on the adjustment of the static blade direction and rotor speed of the powder concentrator. If the stator blades are adjusted outward (larger tangential force) and the rotor speed is increased, finer ore powder will be produced; otherwise, coarser ore powder will be produced. If the outward adjustment of the stator blades is too large and the ore powder produced is fine, then the vertical grinding of ore powder will return a lot of material, so the machine must be shut down and the stator blades adjusted inward for a test run.
(2) Adjust the rotor speed when the system air volume and air pressure are stable. If the rotor speed is too fast, the fineness of the finished product will be finer, so there will be more material returned by the vertical mineral powder grinding mill.
(3) When all parameters are stable, if the rotor speed is adjusted, the fineness of the ore powder will not change significantly. The wear and tear of the upper powder concentrator is the main reason for the large amount of material returned by the vertical grinding of mineral powder, and the unstable operation of the central control system is the secondary reason. Focus on the inspection and repair of the vertical mill powder separator. Seriously worn stator blades can be inspected or repaired and welded with strong ribs.
