Activated carbon regeneration technology uses physical or chemical methods to remove the adsorbate adsorbed in the pores of activated carbon and restore its adsorption capacity. Activated carbon regeneration technology not only realizes the recycling of resources, but also has little impact on the environment and has good economic feasibility for industrial application. As an activated carbon grinding machine manufacturer, Guikuang Machinery will introduce the regenerated activated carbon equipment and production methods.
The regenerated activated carbon production method uses powdered waste activated carbon produced by the operation of activated carbon adsorption equipment as raw material. Regenerated activated carbon equipment and production method: 1. Grinding step, grind the waste activated carbon into powder, the particle size is 180 to 240 mesh, and the throughput is 98%; 2. Mixing step, prepare 68% to 80% of the waste activated carbon according to the weight ratio 18% to 30% tar and 2% potassium hydroxide or magnesium oxide are mixed into carbon paste in the mixing equipment; 3. Granulation step: use the granulation equipment to make the above carbon paste into a raw material with a particle diameter of 2 to 10mm. Particles; 4. Drying step, dry or air-dry the above raw material particles; 5. Regeneration step, add the above raw material particles into an internal heating rotary furnace, isolate the air and heat, and control the temperature at 820 degrees Celsius to 900 degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes, and introduce water vapor; the above raw material particles pass through the feeding chamber, pre-drying section, regeneration and activation section, supplementary activation section and discharge chamber in sequence through the internal heating rotary furnace; in the regeneration and activation section, every 5 to 8 minutes, Flue gas containing carbon dioxide is passed from the wall of the internally heated rotary furnace to the reaction material for 1 to 2 minutes. The flue gas flow is controlled at 40 to 60% of the total air intake, and the finished product is obtained through screening and packaging.
In the prior art, the general method for preparing desulfurization and denitrification activated carbon from new coal includes the following steps: 1) preparing pulverized coal; 2) preparing tar; 3) making carbon paste; 4) molding and granulating; 5) carbonization; 6) activation; 7) Oxidation to make granular desulfurization and denitrification activated carbon. When using new coal to prepare activated carbon particles, three steps of carbonization, activation and oxidation are required after the material making process. Each step also requires a large amount of energy and water. Regenerated activated carbon equipment and production methods can reduce costs and enable the recycling of powdered waste activated carbon to be truly implemented in industry.
