Steel slag is mainly composed of oxides of calcium, iron, silicon, magnesium and a small amount of aluminum, manganese, phosphorus, etc. The main mineral phases are solid solutions formed by tricalcium silicate, dicalcium silicate, calcium magnesium olivine, calcium magnesium rhodoxene, calcium aluminate ferrite, and oxides of silicon, magnesium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. Contains a small amount of free calcium oxide, metallic iron, fluoroapatite, etc. In some areas, because the ore contains titanium and vanadium, the steel slag also contains a little of these components.

1.Application fields of steel slag milling: all kinds of steel slag can be used as materials for filling pits and land reclamation. Some steel slags can be used in the cushion and structural layers of road subgrades, especially as the aggregate of asphalt mixture to pave the pavement layer.

At the same time, the power consumption is constantly upgraded and improved, so that the power consumption is low, the powder fineness range is large, and the advanced powder selection and classification system is adopted, and the passing rate of steel slag powder is high. Because the steel slag vertical mill adopts a vertical mill structure, it occupies a small area. A complete set of steel slag vertical mill production line has several major functions of crushing, drying, powder selection and packaging. In terms of price and future production costs, a low-cost advantage has been formed.

2. Steel slag milling process

Process 1

Large pieces of steel slag are transported to the raw material warehouse by a special vehicle, and then sent to the jaw crusher by a forklift or manually for crushing, and the crushing is smaller than the maximum feed size of the mill.

Process 2

The steel slag crushed by the crusher is lifted to the storage hopper by the elevator, and the material is discharged from the storage hopper, and then fed to the main machine evenly by the feeder.

Process 3

During the grinding process, the qualified products are screened by the screening system and enter the collector through the pipeline. After being collected, they are discharged through the powder outlet pipe to become finished products. The unqualified products fall into the main machine for re-grinding.

Process 4

The purified air flow flows into the blower through the residual air pipe above the dust collector. The air path is circular. Except the positive pressure from the blower to the grinding chamber, the air flow in the other pipelines flows under negative pressure, and the indoor sanitary conditions are good.
