Ball mill has features of high operation rate, grinding effect, and we must follow close to the line of the operation procedures and maintenance procedures of ball mill.
1.Before the start ball mill, you should check whether the connection bolts are tightened, and tightening condition of the spoon head of the ore feeder, and key of gears, couplings. And, you should check that whether the fuel tank and oil in reducer is sufficient, whether the entire lubrication device and instrument with or without defects, and whether Pipeline is open. In addition, Check if there is the Debris which impedes operation around ball mill and classifier. And then turn the ball mill with a crane disk a week, loosening the ball tube and ore charge, and check the meshing of the ring gear and pinion, which is to check whether it is with or without abnormal sound.
2.Starting sequence of Ball mill is: first to lubricating oil pump of ball mill, when the oil pressure reaches 1.5-2.0 kg/cm, it is allowed to start the ball mill, and then start the classifier. When everything is OK, we bagin to feeding.
In the operation of ball mill, we must always pay attention to bearing temperature, shall not exceed 50-65℃. you should always pay attention to the motor, voltage, current, temperature, sound and lubrication system, temperature of oil in the tank should not exceed 35-40℃. The pressure to the tubing should be maintained at 1.5 to 2.0 kg/cm2.
4.Check the lubrication of the transmission parts of the gears, main bearings, classifiers, etc., and observe whether there is blockage and leakage of sand in front and rear end caps of ball mill, simplified, discharge ore tank, overflow tank of classifier. And you often note the changes of nature of the ore to take timely appropriate measures in the light of the circumstances.
5.Last, when stop the ball mill, first to stop the feeding machine. After the ore treatment is finished, stop the ball mill motor, and finally stop the pump. Use the lifting device of the classifier to lift the spiral out of the sand surface, and then stop the classifier.
