Technical requirements for slag micron powder

Granulated blast furnace slag powder used in cement and concrete <National Slag Powder Quality Standard GB/T18046-2008> has the following provisions:

1. Slag powder is divided into three grades: S105, S95 and S75 according to the compressive strength ratio. The specific surface area of S105 grade is not less than 500m2/kg; the specific surface area of S95 grade slag powder is not less than 400m2/kg; the specific surface area of S75 grade The surface area is not less than 300m2/kg.

2. The moisture content of slag powder is not more than 1.0%.

3. The density of slag powder is not less than 2.8g/cm3.

4. When grinding slag powder, the amount of grinding aid added shall not exceed 0.5% of the mass of slag powder.

Project construction conditions and site selection

1. Raw materials

The raw materials used in the project to produce slag powder are mainly slag, which is transported to the factory in bulk by vehicles. The moisture content of the slag is calculated at an average of 15%. The demand for raw slag throughout the year is approximately 353,000 tons, and the maximum daily demand is approximately 1,450 tons.

2. Factory site conditions

The project construction site is relatively flat, has no adverse geological structures, has good road transportation conditions and convenient transportation. After the site selection is completed, a geotechnical engineering survey should be conducted to provide a basis for the construction drawing design of the project.

3. Power supply

The installed capacity of the project is about 2900kw, including two 10kv electrical equipment. They are 1800kw vertical mill, 630kw dust collection and exhaust fan, and the rest are about 470kw powered by 380v power supply. The household voltage level should be 10kV, using double circuit and dual power supply. If you consider saving money, you can also use single circuit and single power supply. The power supply should be guaranteed and reliable.

4. Water source

The production water points of the project are mainly vertical mills, fans, air compressors, etc. The equipment cooling water is recycled through a closed-loop pipe network. The production water consumption is about 2,000 tons per month, and deep well water supply can be used; domestic water includes staff canteens, baths, etc., and the monthly water consumption is about 2,000 tons. The water consumption is estimated to be about 1,000 tons, and tap water can be used for water supply.

Brief description of main production processes

1. Slag unloading pit and transportation

The workshop is a slag unloading pit and transportation supporting the 300,000-ton slag powder vertical mill production line with an annual output. The slag is transported from the unloading pit to the slag intermediate bin through a medium-sized plate feeder and a belt conveyor for screening. Particles smaller than 50mm enter the middle. The silo is measured by the quantitative feeder under the silo and transported to the slag mill via a belt conveyor; particles larger than 50mm are discharged through the chute and processed separately. The storage capacity of the slag intermediate warehouse is about 100t, and the storage period is 2 hours. The capacity of the quantitative feeder is 60 t/h, and the DEL1220 V2 quantitative feeder is selected. Two hoppers are set up in the unloading pit to facilitate the addition of desulfurization gypsum and improve the strength of the slag powder.

2. Slag grinding and transportation

The workshop is the slag grinding and conveying part of the slag powder production line with an annual output of 300,000 tons. The slag is sent to the slag mill from the slag unloading and transportation workshop. After the ground slag is filtered by the dust collector, it is sent to the slag powder warehouse by the air conveying chute and bucket elevator; the incompletely ground slag is transported by the chain conveyor. , bucket elevator and then return to the mill to continue grinding.

The drying heat source of the slag vertical mill is provided by a high-efficiency boiling furnace. The application-based calorific value of coal is required to be above 3000Kcal/kg, and low-quality coal can be used.

The slag mill production capacity is 50t/h slag powder. It is required that the grinding particle size is ≤50mm, the moisture is ≤15%, the finished product fineness is >400m2/kg, the grinding air volume is 79000Nm3/h, the grinding air temperature is 220~260℃, the maximum is 350℃, and the maximum inlet and outlet pressure difference is 5000Pa. The diameter of the grinding disc is Φ2650mm, the rotation speed of the grinding disc is 31.87r/min, and there are 3 grinding rollers in total.

3. Slag powder storage and bulk packaging

This workshop mainly has two φ12x26m slag warehouses with a total reserve of 2x2600t. The storage period is 4.8 days. The finished slag from slag grinding is sent to the air conveying chute at the top of the warehouse via a bucket elevator. The bottom of the slag storage is equipped with a bottom unloading device and is supplied with air by a Roots blower. The slag coming out of the storage is directly fed into the slag bulk system. There is a bag dust collector on each top of the slag storage to meet the dust collection requirements.
