The kaolin has argillaceous structure, felt structure, local silty sand structure and micro bedding structure. The content of clay minerals is about 86%, which is similar to the structure of clay minerals kaolin. There are fine clastic and dusty carbonaceous and ferritic components distributed in it. The content of debris is relatively high, about 8%. It is mainly composed of silty granular quartz and a small amount of feldspar and rock debris. The particles are well sorted, with poor roundness, about 0.01~0.10 mm in size. It is distributed in the clay ore aggregate along the bedding direction as a single or block aggregate.
Kaolin can be used as kaolin for ceramic industry, optical glass crucible, grinding wheel, electric porcelain, high-grade ceramic glaze, embryo, etc. After further decolorization and whitening, they can be used as kaolin for paper making and coating industry, and used as filler for processing paper coatings and coatings.
