Bauxite is the raw material for the production of refractory alumina bricks or other refractory products. It is also called bauxite. Ripe bauxite grinding equipment generally uses Raymond mill or vertical mill, depending on the size of the specific project.

Bauxite can be mainly divided into raw material and clinker. Clinker is raw material that has been calcined at high temperatures. From the perspective of grinding, clinker has a higher hardness and is often more difficult to grind than raw material. When bauxite is used as a refractory material, it generally needs to be ground to 180-200 mesh or 325 mesh.

The bauxite powder making process of bauxite grinding equipment mainly includes:

1. Crushing. If the raw material of cooked bauxite is large in size, it will need to be crushed with a jaw crusher first. Generally, it is crushed to less than 2 centimeters;

2. Feeding, feed raw materials into the grinding machine through various feeding equipment, such as belt feeder, screw feeder, etc.;

3. Grinding, the raw materials are ground in the main machine, and the force generated by the friction and collision between the rotation of the grinding roller and the grinding ring is used to crush and grind the raw materials;

4. Screening, the ground raw materials are blown up by the air flow, the qualified ones come out through the classifier, and the unqualified ones continue to fall back and grind;

5. Collection. The qualified fine powder is blown into the dust collection equipment with the air flow. The most common ones are cyclone dust collector or pulse dust collector. The powder is collected through cloth bags and turned into finished products.
