And because its titanium grade is not high enough, it can not be used as raw materials for titanium industry. Such a large amount of blast furnace slag can not be rationally used, which not only causes waste of resources, but also pollutes the environment. First, what is the use of vanadium titanium slag?
1, used as cement mixture: vanadium titanium slag, steel slag and ordinary blast furnace water quenching slag and cement clinker according to a certain proportion of grinding, can produce strength of 52.5 grade composite cement.
2, used as concrete aggregate: although the activity of vanadium titanium slag is lower than that of general blast furnace slag, it can be used as a component to prepare concrete because there is no harmful component affecting cement hydration in vanadium titanium slag. The crushing index of vanadium titanium slag has no significant relationship with compressive strength, apparent density, bulk density and porosity. The fluctuation of crushing index is small, and all of them are in the category I range of crushing index. No free CaO, multiple autoclaved, no pulverization, no swelling, good stability, low sulfur content. There is no decomposition trend of iron and manganese, and the high titanium heavy slag stored in the open slag field for a long time is very stable, no fracture pulverization or other decomposition phenomenon, and has the mechanical strength of 2 to 3 grade stone. Wear resistance is no less than limestone, can be used as concrete coarse and fine aggregate.
3, used as building blocks or bricks: with high titanium dioxide blast furnace slag as the main raw material, the use of steaming process, can produce MU10 slag bricks. On the basis of meeting the relevant national standards, the slag content in the slag brick is more than 80%.
